A father explains to his Italian-American daughter how the US elections work before her first time voting: two chambers of Congress, the bipartidism of the USA, the electoral colleges, the primaries. The video, starring Gregory Clay and his daughter, Shannon, was selected as a finalist in the competition "America Decides 2012" sponsored by the US Embassy to Italy.
Luca Martera and Daniele Della Valle received the award during the night of the elections that took place at the Hotel Excelsior in Via Veneto on November 6, 2012.
Un padre spiega alla figlia, che voterà per la prima volta, il sistema
politico e il meccanismo delle elezioni negli States: le due camere, i
grandi elettori, il bipartitismo, le primarie. Il video, con
protagonisti Gregory Clay e sua figlia Shannon, è stato premiato come
finalista del concorso "America Decides 2012" promosso dall'Ambasciata
Americana in Italia.
Grazie a questo riconoscimento, i
due videomaker Luca Martera e Daniele Della Valle hanno partecipato alla
notte delle elezioni tenutasi all'Hotel Excelsior di Via Veneto a Roma
il 6 novembre 2012, documentando la serata attraverso un video realizzato per l'Ambasciata.
